Crossover pipe

    What's the purpose of the crossover pipe between mufflers?

    S'mee Guest

    balances the pressure waves between the cylinders. Works on all
    multicyl engines. There can be actual gains in HP and Torque when done
    properly. The math for figuring gets complicated with more cylinders.
