I have a Honda VTX 1800 C, why isn't cruise control available for this bike?
Seems crazy to have all of the electronics and I can't find even an
aftermarket cruise control. Heck I had one on my 1984 Honda and just
assumed it was something I could buy for this one.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I bought a couple of these, one for my SV650S and one for my wife's
EX250. On the SV it works beautifully, because the amount of throttle
opening needed to maintain cruising speeds isn't very much, and you
can find a sweet spot angle where it 'just fits' at both cruising
    speeds and low speed maneuvering.

On the EX250, you need to open the throttle so far at highway cruise
speeds, that if you adjust the Throttle Rocker for a comfortable wrist
position at the cruising throttle opening, when you are puttering
around town, the TR is angled quite a ways toward vertical, making
it uncomfortable. Or if you angle it downward to compensate, then
at cruise you have to pronate your wrist excessively. Still, it is
useful for steady cruising on the highway[1] if you are willing to adjust
it on the fly or to adapt to less than optimal hand positioning during
low speed maneuvers. Any bike bigger than a 250 wouldn't experience
    this problem.

Aerostich sells them, I think they are about $9 or so.

I had a Throttlemeister on my ST1100 for a couple of years, and it was a
terrific device for the LD Riding that I was doing at the time. It was very
simple to use, extremely inutitive and easy to "roll off" when you wanted to
reduce speed or disconnect the cruise. Extremely well made, too.

The Norwegians seem to have one. They might take a credit card, anyone
know the exchange rate for kroner?

I was skeptical, too, until I saw them in person and then installed
    them on my ex-g/f's bike.

Even when the throttle is "locked" open, you can STILL adjust the
throttle slower or faster. The extra weight also helps reduce some of
    the end-bar vibration.

and if you want to go really cheap, get an O-ring and wedge it between the
grip and the handlebar end weight. works like a champ and costs < $1
