Cruiser riders - WTF?

Went out for a short bimble yesterday, and on the A515 and part of the
A5012 there were 2 cruiser-type bikes stopped at every junction and a
lot of access road entrances. The ZZ-Top-reject owners of said bikes
were standing around, not doing very much.

Anyone got any idea what they were up to?

They lost the road captain & couldn't continue until he found them?

Heh, I have a mental image of them all stopping and looking blankly at
one another with a "Oh, shit. What do we do *now*?" look...

The thing that puzzled me was the fact that they were stopped in pairs
at every junction and side road.

Waiting the call to close the road, so their club members could HOG it,
    I'd assume.

  5. Down here in the SE, there have been thousands of bikes bimbling down
the A21 to Hastings or similar. Some Bank Holiday Run thing. I dunno.

All travelling on the dual carriageway at 65-70. Most depressing.

  9. Down here in the even further SE, there's been millions of bikes going
past all day. Seemed to be coming from Cádiz direction. Must have been
some do or other at the weekend.

Weston sea front was crawling with the damn things on saturday.
I never realised that so many hardlys existed in the uk, a quick count
of one section multiplied by total area gives at least 700, plus a load
more burbling and farting around town. Someone should have done the lot
    for obstruction.

But there was not 700 of me cluttering up the seafront and the town, I left
the nonda in the tesco car park.

Heh, heh it's the first time I've gone from full tank to empty in 75
miles. I blame it on trying to keep up with Hog on his Ducati.
