President Bush, will leave the next President the largest deficit in
terms of dollars. The deficit will hit a half Trillion, by early 2009.
Currently it is up to 482 Billion dollars. In the 80s, the deficit at
one time was higher, as a percentage of the overall economy? (I
personally dont know what that' means)

To me, the republican leaders,in the last 8 years, have really been
spend thrifts. and folks like to say, that the democrats are the big
    spenders.

Nonetheless,''whoever becomes the next president will have a very, very
sobering first week in office''., said Senate Budget Committee chairman
    Kent Conrad,D. from ND.

0h well, I can git’ along, but will worry about my younger family
    members. MrJayT-

    Liver sucks.
Out of curiosity, which one did the Iraqi war end?
Difficulty - I support the Afghan war. Woulda been nice to finish that one.
Also, they left off "The Great Depression".

particular time’, after 911 in NYC. Only GWBush, thought Iraq was
part of the 911 tragedy. MrJayT-

=Once upon a time about 51/2 yrs ago,King George spoke told his
subjects 'not to worry', for the Richness of Iraq's Oil, would pay for
    the invasion.
We know how that turned out, like; total bullshitness coming out the
side of his face.WE, the taxpayers here in the USA are paying for his
    bad decision of
going to the wrong country, for the wrong reason and it was all purely
    King Georges great idea.
He wanted to get old bad boy Hussein, for his Father Bushes sake.
He probably assured him he'd catch him or kill him for you Poppa.
Otherwise, he might have sent our Boys and Girls to the right country
where the bad guys truly were, and who were no doubt responsible for
the 911 Tragedy. Now both candidates, even Old John Boring McKane, is
thinking we need to start a huge build up in Afhgansitan, duh, it's
about time, after 5 1/2 years of having our Military in the wrong
country wasting money and lives. HEY JERRY:Just heard a funny one
about our two lovely candidates. They say Baroma is 1/2 white, and
McKane is half alive. (chuckling, chuckling) JayTFuss-

Well, I'ld put forth that FISA and the Patriot Act are far more
detrimental than the Iraqi thing. But really, did anybody that voted for
GWB NOT expect him to find a path to war with Iraq?

I wonder if Karl Rove ever trained him to ride a motorcycle?

There's no doubt that the War/Invasion in Iraq is not the number one
issue, with a large number of voters, but there's no doubt in my mind,
that ''it’s in the top 3.'' However-- It's probably a serious issue to
millions of families who have loved ones in harms way, and; ''what about
those who lost their loved ones ver there; those voters just, might,
'put the ''War issue'' at the #one slot, this fall. JT-

==Biffb there are both deomcratic, and republicans, who dont give a
shit, who is on the ballot, they are compelled (in their little minds)
to vote for their particular party guy.
You might have been one, a republican who voted for Bush regardless of
your expectations of ''how soon'' he likely will invade Iraq, after
being voted in (by a hair) for president.
The 911 disaster, just gave him an excuse. Most of us, expected him to
eventually go after Soddam, you are right about that. (just an opinion,
no google facts, just an opinion of what I think, after 8 years of....)

As a general rule, when faced with underwhelming choices at the polls, I
vote for the person who belongs to the party that is not in power in
Congress. A do-nothing Congress is pretty much as good as it gets, in my
book, 'cause if they aren't doing anything, they aren't finding new ways
    to screw me.

I imagine you wresteld with how to vote when the 'publicans were ruling

those days? Just courous. <g> MrJayT-=====

haven't voted for a republican president in at least 16 years, and
probably haven't ever. and further, for the record, I've never voted for
GWB, neither as a president, a governor, nor a baseball team owner.
Lastly, American League baseball blows goats.

=============lets see? Except for Bill Clinton, we've had a run on
'publican presidents in about 20 years. So, I will vote for whoever is
on the Demo ticket, and it looks like Baroma is the head _______!
But, biffb, you may have to vote for a 'publican,to uphold your
general rule routine.<g> We just dont have much to choose from. If
Baroma, chooses some one like Chris Dodd for VP, that would help
out. Anyway. take it easy this weekend. It is too hot for this old
Rider to ride anywhere very far, this weekend......you be
