At 6'6" and around 270 or so with very long arms, I'm having a hell of a
time finding a jacket that fits. Is there anyone local who does custom
sport leather jacket/suits? I've been to Mary Terry... Any other references
    are appreciated.

Helimot makes a great jacket in about 6 weeks

Zooni makes a great jacket right now.

  4. Vanson, of course. Check out the extensive measurements required
for fitting a suit or jacket on their web page.

Where are you? In SF, CA, US I have Johnson Leathers do my
suits -- they do it the old-fashioned way, after initial
measurements they build a suit out of cotton duck, complete
with body armor inserts, and adjust fitting for your posture
    on the bike you ride.

Well, I'm pretty much the same size you are and have the same problem.
I've got both a Helimot and Zooni custom suit and have been really
happy with both. The Helimot took a bit longer to get assembled, but
fit perfect when I got it. The Zooni was done in 1 week, but I had to
go back a few times for minor adjustments, so they're about the same
really when all things are considered time wise. I'd recommend
    either.

Great info, thanks for the help. They don't give this stuff away though...
Seems like that's the only option-custom. I'm in Sacramento and will have
to wander to San Jose one Saturday and check them both out.

    Thanks again
