custom motorcycle builder wanted

Can anyone recommend a good shop or well-equipped mechanic who can
build a custom motorcycle design? Aesthetics aren't important (No OCC
types) but sound mechanical engineering is critical. I'm located in
the Washington, DC area and would like to find someone near me.

I'd prefer someone with experience with Japanese bikes and access to
plenty of used parts or spares. Frame fabrication is necessary and
extensive engine mods are likely. I'd guess that someone into
building drag bikes would be best but I'm open to other suggestions.
