    Reading the Suzuki GS forum:
One article said for GS750E that when sitting on the seat the left side
coil fires cyliders 1&4 and the right side fires 2&3.

The used OEM coils I purchased are banded as 2 1 on one lead and 1 3 on
the other lead. Both coils are marked the same

So.... does that mean one coil goes to 1 and 2 and the other goes to 2
and 3 and that's numbering from the left sitting on bike like

    Front
    1 2 3 4
    Rear

    (On an 1983 GS650GLD)

    OH- Guest

I'm normally not flaming people or making fun of them, but this
    one was too good.

And how do you suppose cylinder 4 gets fired up? By a Japanese
    elf with a magic wand?

Actually #4 is diesel and self fires.

Thanks for pointing out the typo though. It was supposed to be does one
coil fire 1 and 2 and the other 3 and 4. Someone else said no its 1 and
    3, 2 and 4. Care to verify?

You are right, again they said 1&4 2&3
Yes sometimes, so are a very large percentage of people who spend a lot
of time on the computer. The brain goes faster than the fingers.
