I shall have to do the same.

Also from that era, which again I'll have to get on DVD, was "A Very
British Coup" - a superb adaptation of Chris Mullin's excellent book.

    Aha!

The "Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought" is telling: the only
one I'm lacking from the first page is "A Perfect Spy", which I'm now
    actively considering.

This curent age of making everything available on DVD is rather good -
we've got shelves full of old British(1) made-for-TV stuff, which is
very conveniently watchable in hour-long chunks, or several eps one
after the other when we get into it. All well-made, well acted and
produced and far more reliable (as well as far better on the pound-per-
hour rating) than feature films or the vast majority of current TV.
    IMHO, of course.

    1. Exceptions granted for some US stuff: The West Wing and The Wire
(nods to Champ) and of course M.A.S.H.
