    I don't know what's worse, a fine or a Seat.

    Dago pride rant starts here.
Good to hear the opinion of an actual connaisseur.

I wouldn't have bought a SEAT (Siempre Estamos Apretando Tuercas,
we're always fixing nuts) in the times they made Fiat models under
license. Now they are a VAG group brand, which means you'll get most
of Hun engines and car platforms. Simply put, Skoda took the cheapo
brand role, and SEAT new models should emphasize in the affordable
sports car line (or as someone said here, poor man's Audi). I like the
new Ibiza and new models should follow that line and offer more
    variety, we'll see...

At least we can say that our local brands are managed from Germany,
    not from India
    :p

It might buy the profile of the purchasers, but SEATs don't seam to wear
    as well as Skodas.

Didn't fancy translating that as "squeezing nuts" then?

Anyway, my Ibiza FR has just returned from a long trip to Dordogne (via
various stops - might post report - don't worry, I didn't take the
camera) and it performed excellently. Mind ewe, fuel consumption went
from 5.5 l/100km to 4.5 as I left the outh of Spain and switched the
    aircon off.
