I think it only fair to warn those who may use the A548 and A470 out of
Abergele on the 24th of this fair month, that I shall be bringing home
    the new Sprint ST [1].
There will be wobbling, bimbling, occasional blatting, but definitely no
    hooning.
I shall be shitting myself, so keep clear.

[1] Black, with added black bits.

    That is all.

It's actually a beautifully easy bike to ride IME. The power so
smoooooooth you will be hooning without even realising it
    Good chap.

Good luck, and let us know how you get on. The Sprint ST is now back
at the top of my "potential buy" list so am interested in any reviews.
    I fancy a red one.

Apparently my review was crap, but any questions, I'll try to answer

I guess if you spot any "real world" niggles then they would be good to
know, but apart from that it's get a test ride and sort out the dosh.

There appear to be a few unregistered '06 models around for ukp6.5
which are probably better value then paying full list for an '07 where
I think the only differences are colours and the "free" panniers.

    Hmmm

The change up from first can be a smidge clunky. The FI is a bit sharp
from closed throttle, but that may be me just being ham fisted. I need
to point my lights down quite a bit as I am dazzling oncoming traffic.

You have (apparently) to remove the entire headlamp assembly to change
    the main bulb.
Could be. The panniers are pretty good IMHO. Not cheap though.

This could be a combination of things like a brand new
gearbox, sloppy gear lever, over-tight chain, misaligned
    rear wheel, etc.

I would expect it to get better with age as the gear
wear in and as the maintenance picks up on the minor
    points.
May be, but I remember Triumph putting out quite a
few revisions of the fuel map on the TT600, so you
may get lucky as yet. Besides, it's nothing that a
Power Commander and a dyno run couldn't sort.
    Heh. Eat Fewer Pies.
This is pretty common. I have to do the same on the
748 as it's all pretty compact in there and getting
enough fingerage in to connect things up is almost
    impossible.

Indeed. Apart from the first one. It's also entirely possibly me being
ham footted. It's OK, but it's quite a long way IYSWIM. The rest are fine
Well, it's gonna need servicing every 10 weeks and the next one is due
    in about a month.
    Stop you bad man :)
I did for a long time. I am now well into the healthy weight range for
my height. Of course, the weight of the panniers doesn't help a lot.

Nasty. Never owned a faired bike, before. Still, never had to replace
    a main beam bulb, either.
