Would have to be the same weekend as the Bombala Bike Show. Weather
permitting, that's were I'm off to. Dargo is too local for me, and the
    Bonang beckons.
Being near Sale, I might be able to work in something for Frid. night if
anyone (gota be a nice type) is interested in going the extra distance.

  3. One day, I'll get to those things. In the meantime, during that time,
I'll be on the way back from a Central Queensland Poker Run. Toowoomba
    - Injune - Clermont - Barcaldine - Winton - Mt Isa - Hughenden -
Townsville - and haven't quite worked out the route back to Toowoomba
yet. 9 days; 4500 km; should be a hoot.

Most scientific discoveries are heralded by a tentative "Hmmm. That's funny..." instead of a jubilant "Eureka!"

  5. One year Marty, but not this one, I need a year without work commitments on
the Monday. Did go once, its a long ride home for a Sunday.

Major and *long* roadworks around Injune way.

Keep an eye out for a red-bearded copper from Barcaldine who
likes to book people (me) for modest offences. 163kph as I recall.

  8. So if you can't get attention one way, you'll try another? Great you
could be with us, Craig, keep posting, ignore the flames!

  10. Oh well. If the prediction for a bit of wet weather is accurate, looks
like bike and trailer will turn up at Clermont pretty well splattered in
    mud.
He could be busy on the Monday, then. Some talk of 400 bikes.

btw: Just between you and me - no one else: "modest" is perhaps not the
    term to use.

As long as the weather doesn't look as bad as last year, I'll be going
up on the Saturday. Probably try to get a pretty early start.

    Ta.

If all goes well, I'd like to be at Briagolong for lunch, so it'd be the
morning rather than the afternoon. Probably going via Yallourne north
to avoid all the traffic in T'gon etc.
