    Want to hear something scary?

The Guzzi not only accelerates _harder_ than the Diversion but also has
a top speed about 10kph faster... handles better too.

The Diversion OTOH is comfortable :)

That'd be the slippery aerodynamics of those Kawasaki-parts-bin mirrors
    coming into effect. :)

    <shrug> Fucked if i know then. It's not terribly slow a run - there's a
20-40K section that's tight-ish (think Wiseman's Ferry rd, WF to
Spencer) but a 100-120K average should be very achievable. The rest of
it is comfortable 140-160K stuff, with a few stretches of easy 200+. The
only real speed hazard is poor vision for overtaking (hence you can get
stuck behind a vehicle for a bit) and some roadworks in the middle that
had about 2 or 3Km of very deep gravel that had me doing 30 or 40K
(pisshead loved it and was going much quicker) when PP, PP and I went
through in early december, but that was almost totally gone by the time
I went through at Xmas, just a smattering of loose gravel across the
road (more dangerous for a bike than the deep gravel IMNSHO) so keep an
eye out for it, it's about 20K north of Gloucester, before the first
bridge and after the thunderbolts turnoff
If someone finds my good looks they need to ease up on the illegal
    psychotropic and /or hallucinatory substances

I prefer the ZZR1200 to the Blackbird... much more comfortable if a
    little heavier (and uglier).

Agg has gotten hold of the 'copy board' versions of the paper articles
    - good quality pdf's about 1MB each:

Those of us who WERE there feel like shit too gents.

Don't sweat it; we do what we can and it can never feel like it's enough.
(Until we can master resurrection it can never be can it!)

If you want to do something that CAN make a difference to someone (though
sadly; not to Boky) please make a donation in Boky's name to the Steven
Walter Fund at the Children's Cancer Institute.

Hey Gerry did you make it?
I was on the lookout for you and I had a couple of people who said they
knew what you looked like on the lookout too (Lillia and ... umm... someone
I immediately forgot-about when I saw Lillia) but our paths didn't cross
and I had to drink my beer alone.... (OK; I was actually surrounded by
friends and family but "alone" sounds more poetic!)

We'll have to meet up when I'm heading for the Superbikes in March..
    Cheers ..... Clem

Ok; I'm convinced you're wrong but I see where you're coming from.
I felt a bit of a fraud there too as I couldn't claim to have known Boky
very well (much to my chagrin) but it was a very welcoming and
all-encompassing event and even us non-sportsbike, non-110-percent people
were made welcome. (Even if we arrived in a Kia!)

I'm also sure that had YOU initiated contact with Big Iain, Pisshead,
Johnnie5 et. al. you would've been welcomed into the fold but what's done
is done and I reckon we should just write this one off as a
    miscommunication / missed-oportunity.

I'm always in a rush when I'm heading through for the Supers but I'd love
to meet up for an amber-ale in March. (Or if you reckon you can handle a
few more of us [and a few more ales] then the Karuah River Rally near
    Dungog is in February)

Yah... it was hard to take.

Boky wouldn't have wanted you feeling guilty about not being able to
make it though, so don't ok.

Telling people who are hurting, who have done thier best to be
inclusive.. to **** off... is... unfckngblvble.

I would have been happy to ride with anyone Gerry, there were plenty of
posts on the OCAU.MC and on OZVFR web forums and some in NETRIDER as
well as messages in the IRC channels #Ausmoto and #OCAU.MC and
#Motorcycles and I copied the funeral arrangements over to here and
    posted them here as well.

What the more information could you possibly want?!?

Would you rather there had been TV advertisments or don't you watch TV
    either *sigh*
