Daytona results and live timing ??

Hi.

In previous years I have kept in touch with the happenings in Daytona,
from my side of the pond here in Ireland, on the AMA superbike
website. It always had lots of useful info. including all practice
times, race results and live timing.

I can't seem to find any mention of this on the website this year from
the new regime. Does anyone know if this information is going to be
available this year?

You mus be mistaken, the old AMA was lame, inept, corrupt and stupid
and could not have provided any info that would be useful to fans, and
the new DMG organization is awesome, smart and knows how to promote
racing so there is no way things could be worse now then it was before.

Now thats a laugh....

Aside from Roger Edmonson the rest of the DMG group includes Colin
Frasier of the Canadian Superbike series. I have seen first hand what
a Colin Fraiser event is and know how he deals with staff. The fact
it is the series that almost WASN"T should be an indication that
decisions will be made regardless of what others think or want.

DMG almost bought the equivalent of Florida swampland when the series
pretty much tanked before they even had a race and all because of
THEIR rulebook. I am not sure if I call that a smart organization
when they can barely promote it to the manufacturers.

I have FULL respect for Roger Edmonson. He is a sharp businessman and
loves his racing. Formula USA, NASB. Nothing else needs to be
said.
Colin.... Well it is amazing what the show looks like vs what goes
on behind the scenes. What the fan doesn't see won't hurt him I
guess...... but counting chickens before they have hatched I would
rather wait and see if it is better.

He may state stuff as fact that he doesn't really know. He
certainly has made claims over the last year that he
couldn't back up. But he's never been a liar and I don't
think he has suddenly started to be one.

I'm sure not convinced anymore that he's a good businessman
as evidenced by his utter failure to improve AMA racing so
far. He may not have killed it (yet) and I hope he starts making
better decisions.
