Is there a product (apart from glen 20) that can be used to de-odorise a helmet?

I'd use glen 20 but I don't want my head to smell like a dunny at work the next
    day.

Wash your hair with shampoo (preferably something that smells like what
you'd like your helmet to smell... like), dry your hair a bit, then put your
helmet on and go for a ride

Febreeze seems to work, although then your helmet smells like febreeze.

  7. Nah. He got it right for last month. Don't know what you'd use this
    month though.

  8. what if you don't have any hair on your head.. ;)
    ur obviously a youngen *grin*

Could also try washing out the helmet.. water works well to rinse out the
sweat and dead skin bits that cause the stink....

I have a large bucket...fill it with water and NappySan and soak the helmet
for a while and work it around a bit, you'll be amazed at the muck that
comes out of the lining.

I used a Lavender Wool Wash and pulled the lining out of my helmet and
washed helmet with the rest....then leave in Sun to dry for about two dys or
so depending on heat but you have to keep eyes in the mirror for Kiwi's who
    may feel a little frisky!!!!!!

    Cheers and Good luck

"Motorex Helmet Care" does the job & is the only one I know of specifically
for bike helmets. It is supposed to also do the outside but best results
    inside.

You could always stick one of those christmas three shaped
car air fresheners inside the lining of the helmet.
