Anyone have any experience of Daytona Motorcycles near Ruislip?

No. But fwiw, I thought they were/are the same as HGB Motorcycles. The
websites for both look very similar, althouhg there doesn;t seem to be
    a formal connection.

    They seem friendly enough.

So, is it to be a Ducati or a Piaggio?

  5. In uk.rec.motorcycles, darsy amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom:
    Yeah, dia-fucking-bollical.

Google for the saga of me leaving my bandit there and Pip and Loz trying
to collect it some weeks/months later.

Sweet. So, when you're picking it up, you'll be swinging by SW14 on the way
    back then?

My Blackbird was bought brand new off the Showroom floor at HGB's. It
has a Daytona numberplate on it.

Daytona is, iirc, their non-Honda franchise.

    Whinging Courier says...
I agree with everything WC says. Disorganised and most unhelpful cunts,
the lot of them at all 3 branches.

Oh good, someone else who thinks theyre a shower of shits... OK for bits
and bobs, but I wouldnt trust them with anything more than an MOT... Rip off
merchants on the tyre's and a shambolic bunch of cunts in every other
respect. Mate of mine used to work there, and Ive heard all sorts of
nightmarish shit that goes down there.

    Dont go near.

don't get too exited, it's not going to be a new one (note the lack of
"R" in the model name), and judging by the comments in this thread, not
going to be this particular machine either.

fair enough. It's not like there's a lack of 2nd-hand Monster S4s out
    there in any case.

It doesn't matter where you buy it from though, it's still going to break
    down within a week

Bloody hell. That was a good response - in a not good but bloody
    useful sort of way.

And yes, in my one experience of them the term "shambles" fits the
    (dis)organisation like a glove.

as chance would have it, I've just had lunch with Simon, and he was
boasting about how he'd done "almost a thousand miles" on the RSV he
    bought...back in May.

Only came accross them when I was buying my 6R years ago. They made it
so difficult to buy the bike (cash in hand too, no px) that I went
elsewhere. Seemed like a bunch of arrogant cunts tbh.

Remind me, why did you sell you upgrade your Mille, just before the
    last one's warranty ran out?
