Six months ago I bought a new pre reg Z1000, I posted here at the time about
being sold a bike with a duff battery that they claimed to have replaced
when it wouldn't start out side the showroom, and left me stranded on the
way home when it turned out not to have been replaced, but just jump
started......anyway... in recompence for this debacle having replaced the
battery, they also promised to tax the bike for another 6 months when the
initial 6 months was up, so, when the reminder came a couple of weeks ago I
called them and they agreed to tax it, so I emailed the reference number so
they could do it on line and the new disk would come direct to me, simple?
No. Yesterday I emailed them to remind them as I haven't had a new disk, no
reply so today I checked on the DVLA website and the tax hasn't been renewed
so I have had to sorn the bike to avoid a £80 penalty.
They will get a fully featured 'phone call on Monday morning.
