The forum started with the vbulletin profanity filter active. For a few
months this year the owner/sysadmin tried it without. I liked it because I
could be my usual expressive self. Some soft cunts complained as some
people exploited the change in the way that small children do when they
discover toilet humour. So, the profanity filter is back.

 

Not tempted to subscribe and give them the full version when someone
disagrees with your opinion?

All the turds who refuse to overtake or filter seem to do that. I
usually sit behind them for a short while out of a sort of
professional courtesy, assuming that they will do something soon. They
invariably don't because if they were inclined to take advantage of
the fact that they were on 2 wheels then I probably wouldn't have
caught up in the first place. Then when I've had enough and pass them,
regardless of how safe my manoeuvre is, they always always flash
lights and/or beep horns and/or gesticulate. Strangely, they sometimes
also discover the ability to filter/overtake and try to keep up for a
bit. Arseholes, the lot of 'em, whatever they ride.

just needs to be a bit more creative with words like "member", "manly
shaft" and "gaping maw."

 

it's weird, as they seem to tolerate bigotry in many forms but swearing is
frowned upon. It's a bit like a women's institute, really.
