How would a clever person wriggle out of jury duty? Don't give us any
bullshit, just say how you propose getting out of it.

So you admit it's not perfect but you'd still be happy to execute?
Only one of us being an idiot here, or your rabid online persona is a
troll either way I struggle to see much difference.

There are certainly get out clauses that can be exploited by the
unscrupulous[1]. Personally I'd be happy enough to do it, would make a
    change from the daily grind.

[1] The one time I was asked I'd already moved from that area and the
letter caught up with me. I was happy enough to go back but I got
binned for no longer being resident in the county.

I thought this muse be left-pondian from your description. In the UK
they don't have all this shit about being able to 'select' the jury.
    You get what you're given.

    This from an opinionated fool who also posted;
Can you apply yourself to an objective assessment of the value of a
single human life in a population of billions?
Please include reasoning. Try not to be emotive or pedantic.

  11. Jury selection as such happens here, as I found when the prosecution
objected to my presence immediately after I said I wouldn't swear on a
    bible.
    Cunts.
I thought, **** you then, and pleaded a back injury for subsequent days.

  12. Precisely - a waste of scarce resources when his fellow inmates will do
it all by themselves, for free.

    YippeKayAy, motherfucker.

  13. TV gameshows are sadly lagging behind in this, and in an age when new
ideas are few and far between.

"They" said that when Venables and the other **** Thompson when they went
down. Oddly enough, they popped up again still breathing.

Waiting around for **** knows how long before you know if you're sitting ona
jury or fucking off back home *is* a grind.

It's not a lot better when you get on the jury either.

Venables and Thompson didn't go to prison.

Other than that, fucking great point.

I thought it was still at least theoretically possible for there to be a
    "challenge for cause"?
