I'm with ogden on this one. Flame wars over the death penalty are

Mind you, I'm not sure that they discuss the DP any more either.

 

The defendant can object to a juror but they have to have a very good
reason.

 

Perhaps it was badly framed. See I've always had reservations based on
execution of an innocent. Though I've thought it might be possible to design
a suitable (human) system. But now the technology exists to scan the
patient to a degree of considerable certainty I'm pretty sure a system, with
matching human error correction, could be constructed.

So that said, it comes down to other things and I wonder if cunts like this
push people's reservations over the edge.

 

TBH, juries aren't "selected" in the US, either. But each side has a
set number of peremptory challenges to dismiss jurors they don't want.
In California, I think the number is 3. I see that England eliminated
peremptory challenges in 1988. Of course, there is still an unlimited
number of challenges for cause.

 

Troo enough, but one of is in jail now and he's still surviving. And fucking
complaining. They should bring back the death penalty just so we don't have
to listen to the **** whingeing that he can't watch kiddy pr0n while he's
locked up

I don't know of any recent cases where a sex offender/child murderer has
been topped by another inmate.

I'm sure there *are* cases, but I've not heard of any that I can recall.

FWIW, some women advocate claiming instead of rape, that an attacker
was only a pervert exposing himself, on the grounds that perverts and
child molesters get treated so badly in prison.

 

In the UK all that gets them is a slap on the wrist and sent home with
a warning.
