    Hi guys,

I'm posting from Oz, in North Queensland, currently running an 01
Sprint St, and as of today, a 1990 NTV Revere - hence the SOB
    question.

I acquired the Revere as a bit of a project, and hopefully as a cheap
runaround. The motor seems to run nicely, although cosmetically it's
rough around the edges. Dings in the tank, stuffed fork seals (but
fork legs not pitted), broken indicator, not pretty but it appears
    functional.

Anyone know what tyres should be on the Revere? It currenty has
radials, 120/70 ZR17 front and 170/60 ZR17 rear, the specs I can find
    suggest it should be running crossplys, 110/80 H17 and 150/70 H17. I
rode it briefly into the back yard (the bike is currently
unregistered) and the front end seemed very wobbly, not sure if it is
the tyres or something more serious.

    tia,

I've been following uk.rec.motorcycles.classic for a little while, and
have ridden round the UK and Europe a couple of times in recent years.
Bought an ETZ 250 in 1996 and clocked up 6000 miles in 3 months. In 01
I picked up a Kwak GT 750 and rode that around England and Northern
Europe for a couple of months. I had originally intended on doing the
IOM but the foot and mouth outbreak put paid to that. Got over for the
2007 IOM, bit more upmarket on that occasion, I had the use of a
borrowed ZXR 1200 and later a GS 1150.

    cheers, Bill
