The hospital gave me the screws that were holding my right leg together
after my big off. Years later I used them to fix the shed.

I guess if they ever work out how to mend them and put them back in
    you'll be sorted.

I was up by Southampton airport and saw parkedtwo 'black and red' FZS
600's + my blue one and another Gold one. FZS 600 is the best bike ever
made and Amsterdam for under 100 quid including parking petrol and
flights has nothing to do with this.

Does it ever put you off your stride like reaching the vinegar stroke,
looking round to see a pair of false teeth grinning at you?

Yebbut would you trust the opinion of a man with a pink kitchen[1]?
Besides, the only reason he bought the Z was so he'd have a bike that
would actually start occasionally, & still have the same number of
parts when he gets home as it did when he left.

[1] I realise I may be on dodgy ground here.

    I don't. From http://www.triumph.co.uk/uk/5923.aspx - "It has the
all-round practicality and comfort of the old Tiger". Yeah right.

  13. The chief thing I have against the Pan is that - on the 1100 at least -
the fairing doesn't really work properly.

Other than that - brilliant bike.

  15. I don't. OK, so it's intended for use on-road 100% of the tiem, and the
old Tigers rarely ventured off road, but it's nice to have the
capability to take it down unmade roads. Like a BMW GS. Or, even better,
    a Range Rover.

I wanted a 2007 GSXR1000 but now I've seen it, and it looks shit. The
twin low-level exhausts make it look like a touring bike.

R1 it is then. Or maybe I'll just save a bit of money and have a K2
    GSXR1000.

Don't talk twaddle. There's no such thing as "the best bike ever made".
