That paddock stand looked like it was a twat of a job to put on it.

I assume to stop ppl tripping over the thing?

The bike looks stunning in white IMO, even with the anodised frame.

uh huh. And, of course, twins are inherently 'bigger bang' than fours
cos they have less, but bigger, explosions, before you even get to
    modifying the timing.
Depends on the V4. Back in the days when Honda V4s could be made
competitive in BSB, they used to take VFRs (which had 180 deg cranks)
and convert them to RVFs (which have 360 deg cranks) for similar
reasons. (I think I've remembered this the right way round).

But, a straight four is a much easier engine to package - fuel in the
back, exhaust out the front. A V4 is typically a nightmare of
plumbing. So, if by doing something clever with the crank you can
create a 'virtual V4' in a straight 4 package, you get the best of
    both worlds.

Actually, the GP motors are mostly described as 'long bang' now. "Big
    bang" is just catchier.
I'd doubt the author's authority. Read Cameron in Motocourse.

I doubt he'll change, but that's no reason to think any fewer of him.

I await with anticipation the same abuse that I got, when writing 'like'
as a 'filler'. I, too, talk that way.

*waits to see Champ being abused ...*

I almost thought that was Colin Edwards doing the presentation, but I didn't
hear "Shit", "****" or "Crap", so it must've been a body double.
