    This engine's not about peak power, it's about torque.

    With 320Mn (compared with 185Nm from a 2.0L Focus) available anywhere from
    1,600-4,000rpm, the thing pushes you into the back of the seat and just
    keeps going.

    It has surprisingly little torque-steer and is very drivable in all
    situations, unlike the Focus RS I had a couple of years ago. The ST was
    also 20s a lap quicker around the Nerburgring than the RS, without trying so
    hard.

    Strip that engine and send the specs to Henry's lot as it's obviously not
    one of theirs.
