I live in South London, want to get my CBT upped to a DAS, can anyone
recommend a school ? The one I used before closed down, and I would
rather have recommendations than go in blind.

    Hi slumpy.

You'll know that wessie's reply is typical of the sort of unhelpful
reply that you might expect from here.

I, on the other hand, am always helpful. Indeed, had your question
related to the merits of schools on Tyneside 15 years ago I would have
been a positive mine of information.

I agree with Colin - wessie's reply was totally uncalled for.

I cannot help with his request either but should slumpy have any
queries relating to International Air Transport Association (IATA)
Ticketing arrangements, exceptions, fare basis calculations, circular
routing or general guidelines then I'm your man!

You forgot to tell the OP that you are also gay so he can make an informed
decision on the merits of "coming out" if he needs to because you will be
    his friend.

I agree with everyone - including wessie.
I am also unable to help slumpy on this subject, but should he have any
queries on writing an Oracle PL/SQL process to calculate Capital Gains
Tax, Investment Management Fees, or any similer functions, then I'm da
    man!

If the poster's a female and the posting name refers to her tits then
I think the interest level will be rather low.

Would that advice extend to creating a messaging system to interface
either directly to CREST, or via middleware such as SAM?

Sheesh. We rolled our own. Raw EDIFACT straight into our underwriting
systems via our own translation tools.

A colleague recently came out and expected me to be terribly
supportive of him, "Dane, I'm not your friend - I just work with you."

It's the mark of a complete wanker, trust me on this. Robbo changes his
sig regularly to escape numerous killfiles.

It's almost sad that he has to alter his posting name to get anyone to
read his posts. As soon as I realise it's him I killfile the ****
without waiting to see if he's improved.

Not an option for us. It's a distributed Investment Management system &
the clients use CREST/SAM/Investmaster/Lawshare etc. We'll probably
need to interface with all of them eventually, but SAM's top of the
    list.

I can sort his paintwork and model heli's out if the need arises, but I'm
crap at flagging patio's. And so is the **** I've just paid 400 quid to do
    mine.
