They were obviously stung by criticism that the Dullville wasn't ugly
enough....

 

A 680cc V-Twin cruiser with shaft drive and a fully automatic gearbox?
With a sports bike fairing and no storage? It's ugly because the whole
idea is so silly.

 

Reading that hype, how can "Long-and-low proportions for relaxed
riding position and luxurious riding ease" be comfortable? Sounds like
a bunch of marketing tossers wanking under the boardroom table.

 

I think I saw one of these go down my street a couple of days ago - I
actually thought at the time it was one of the quite similar looking
Chinese bikes I saw at the bike show last year.

Dunno about Orange County, but I see a fair amount of Honda Helix in the
design.

That's dangerously close to the "baby shit yellow" colour that Ford
Australia painted one particular Laser sedan model about 15 or so
years ago :-(

Huh; please elaborate.
I had a Laser 20-odd years ago but I didn't know there was any stigma
attached.

 

In some situations those who don't know probably aren't told, just
laughed at.
