Minx and I are heading off to Christchurch on Monday for a fortnight
of skiing holiday. I haven't been paying much attention to exactly
where we're going (I just do as I'm told), but I think I heard the
name "Treble Cone" mentioned at least once?

Anyone have any recommendations of places to go, people to see?

You can wave to Michelle and her niece Kellie. They fly over on Tuesday!

I was in a diesel motorhome so I could appreciate it but not actually enjoy
it! ... I swear I'll return with a bike one day though. (checks wallet to
make sure the Get-Routed card is still in there)

  7. How are you travelling around? - I have a van in Chch which needs
    driving - diesel powered Toyota.

    Call me on 03 9331 0947 if you're interested.

    Kind regards

That's very decent of you Milligoon, but Minx has already booked a
rental car (and she reckons that a $WD to get to some of these ski
resorts is a Real Good Idea). I'll keep you in mind if we ever do a
    summer trip, of course. ;-)

PS - Are you just offering this in lieu of the free motorcycle
transport to IoM that you owe me? ;-)

I thought it was a bit nasty, too!

We've made it to Queenstown, and tomorrow we'll be hitting the piste!

(In my case, it'll probably be repeatedly, with my face).

Thank god you were here to make that totally obvious response George,
or deaf dumb and blind people who live up trees in South America and have
never contacted other humans might not have gotten BT's pun about
    hitting-the-piste.....

  19. And all this from someone who doesn't know how to attach a Ventura rack to a
    bike
    specifically made for it

  20. Therefore you must qualify for that class as well
for you seem to have missed entirely, my sarcastic comment about the "SUNNY
    WEATHER" we are getting

Thanks Christ that you post knobless, it brings a bit of amusement to the
    group
