If you're suggesting that the load balancer is able to adaptively
compare responses for the same request across servers within the pool
and remove one when it detects an anomaly then I've never come across
one that can do that.

Alteons are alright, in a basic functionality sense. They just lack a
lot of modern features and suffered from a lot of bugs during the Nortel
years. The limit on the number of scripts is easily worked around - do
the tricky stuff on the host, where it arguably belongs, and keep the
healthcheck probe on the LB nice and simple.

And unless News have changed what they use in the last couple of years,
they definitely don't have the capability.
