Fewer entrances and exits along with fewer working bogs and showers.

Should see the end of GP racing in this country.

Well it's only a consideration that MotoGp may go to Silverstone, but it's
for definite that GP is going to Donington. Next stop, no F1 racing over
    here

given most of Doningtons bogs arrive on the back of a lorry I'm not
    sure this is true.

    Higher prices at a guess.

I suspect that MotoGP will head to Silverstone, and that Donington will
    get a major revamp.

Suits me, Donington is close enough to not be a pain in the arse to get to.

I was amazed to hear this. Despite the fact Silverstone's a bit of a
dump I think it's more suited to F1 and has greater potential for
development simply because it's a much bigger site. Basically, I don't
think F1 will work very well at Donington (straight too short, track
too narrow) and it will probably ruin the circuit for club events.

I have a horrible suspicion you may be right. Somehow I can see
Donington being 'reworked' to better suit the F1 cars.

Well their track record wrt customer servce isn't too good when it comes to
hosting MotoGP. Unless there's a major improvement, I can't see them hanging
    on to it.

Haven't people been waiting for Silverstone to plow some major funds
into the circuit for years? Which they've never done.

I understand the track itself is ok but the grandstands and everything
else are miles behind what most other F1 tracks have.

Allegedly a "mystery donor" is giving Donington £100m! I think
Silverstone were rather hoping the govt would provide them with some
    funds.

Mystery donor? Wouldn't happen to be a short bloke with silver hair
    would it?

And part of the deal is a thousand and one $$$ earning sponsorship
    deals?

    Well they're denying it now.

But I doubt it would be him anyway as I think the main goal is to
remove the British GP from the calendar altogether.
