Is it possible to look any slower I wonder :(
Sorry I missed you. I think when you dropped by I was doing the riskiest
thing of the day by having a burger. Then I went and skulked in the car
out of the rain and may well have put the odd 'Z's in.
    Impressive wasn't it?
A pity the two very fastest men weren't there, but there were half a
dozen well on the pace. The KTM 950SM goes well doesn't it?

I hate riding when very wet (so wet that the Clerk of the Course made
every one walk up the first part of the hill to see the streams running
across) turns to dry(ish). I was fastest road legal after the first
pretty wet run. No amount of rain dancing succeeded in bringing
torrential rain for the second timed run so I the R1 pipped me and the
Harley comprehensively trounced both of us on the second which was dry -
except that I convinced myself that it would still be damp under the
trees. As someone so perceptively said in the paddock, "you are never
going to go well on a bike you don't want to drop for fear of damaging
    expensive/unobtainable parts".
