Don't Eat In Mexican Restaurants Unless You Want To Die

How about some anecdotal evidence? I personally have come down with
the flu on several occasions after eating in fast food joints staffed
by Mexicans. I have learned not to eat food that may have been handled
    by Mexicans.

My most recent bout with the flu came after soaking in a hot springs
frequented by Mexicans, but the hippies in the springs might have been
    the vector of infection too.
Well, the "traditional" Mexican "combination plate" served in American
taquerias is heated in an oven for several minutes to melt the cheese
topping, so that would probably kill influenza virii.

The "combination plate" was invented in Dallas or Ft. Worth by a
Mexican immigrant who was trying to save on dishwashing by putting a
bunch of snack foods all on one plate.

In Mexico, the grated cheese on top of a Guadalajara style enchilada
is not melted, but Americans expect melted cheese, so that style of
    enchilada is called "Gringa".

Mexicans do not eat a lot of fresh vegetables, but uncooked vegetables
are liberally sprinkled with *lime juice*, AKA "Mexican disinfectant".
