Don't you hate it...

  1. When you check the weather and decide to ride the bike to work then it decides
to piss rain in the afternoon. Melbournians need not respond to this thread.

Meh. Afternoon rain doesn't bother me; I can have a shower and change at
    home.
Morning rain means I have to sit soggy all day.

  3. Morning rain never bothered me when I was working and riding to work from
Blackburn to Flemington every day rain hail or shine, because that was the
    only transport I had,
But, if it rained while I was riding to work, then I would have ana extra
hour off work because all my clothes were wet and the boss allowed me to dry
them out before I started work.

After last week's little adventure, I'll take unexpected rain over a
sudden Westerly with 80+km/h gusts anytime thanks :)

That is the hand of cards that life can deal you and what are you going to
    do about it?

On an unrelated note, in the 4 years of walking to the bus stop every
weekday morning and back every afternoon, it's rained on me about 4
times. W00t for drought! Don't need to look at the forecast. A
forecast here entails looking at yesterday's weather, and assuming
    today's will be the same.

  7. Harden the **** up and put my laptop in a garbage bag for the ride home. I
miss the topbox on the Strom and VFR is getting one fitted asap.
