  1. I fired up an old cb i had lying around the garage the other day (at
    least twentyfive years old) amazingly it still worked and people were
    still chating on it

    I thought they died a death years ago

    Mebbe that's why I bought some Andrex at the campus store tonight rather than
    spending an extra £2.40 on the bus to get genuine Tesco's.

    Apropos some comments about libel tourism in the UK in the Grauniad
    lately, that paper contains comments that Böhm and Wolf had been mistaken
    about some of their results, but I was never sued for it.

  8. I recall those days too. Flying a model aircraft that suddenly decided
    to climb then do a wingover and plunge to the ground. No proof, but I
    suspect CB interference.
