Go and test the Sport 1000 Bip while you're at it. I fancy a garage
    re-fresh.

Nah, I've got the Hypermotad thing next. Happiness is access to the
Ducati press fleet. All the fun without the nuisance of living with a
Ducati. Though an early 916 might fill the garage vacuum rather well.

Meanwhile I think I might have to take the1098 over to brother's
    place ;-)

Doubly so thanks to the invention of multi-media phone messages.

Think I'll buy one on that basis. Will they take 2 kids in part exchange?

Oh, handy. I've possibly got the chance to buy an un-used (except for
marketing) 749 Dark (with special Matt black paint) for a slightly
reduced price. Are they any good ? It's one of the 06 titsupstreetah
ones, have you (or anyone else) had a go on one, is it any good, will
it be more fun than my current k5 gsx-r 600 ?

Good, yes, no I havn't ridden one though. Fun, yes, more than a GSX-
R, depends on you really. Harder to live with, certainly. You need
to ride one to see if you like it really as they (Ducatis) are
    something of an acquired taste.

Hmmm. That could be akward - they're not exactly aching to give me the
keys to it. I've offered them 15 quid for it and everything. I even
said I'd leave the advertising stuff down the outside but that didn't
    swing the deal...

On an unrelated matter then, anyone round here got a recent 749 that I
    could HAGM on ?
