"FilippoI had tears in my eyes. I couldn't believe that on the same
track that Loris gave us his first victory and where we have always
had a challenge with Bridgestone, Casey won a race where he had to
fight and suffer, but more than anything, a race that he really wanted
to win. He clashed with Valentino Rossi, world champion seven times
and winner on this same track eight times. In other words, one of the
best riders of all time, if not better.

First of all, I want to thank Casey for what he has been able to do,
but I also want to thank everyone that works in the shadows every day
to do their part in making this dream possible; the guys from the team
that turned a dramatic Friday into an amazing Sunday, selecting the
perfect tyres and set-up; and the Bridgestone technicians who, on the
track, in Japan and with our tyre development team, have worked hard
while being the targets of curses that I cannot repeat here. I want to
thank the designers, the mechanics, the guys from the administration,
the warehouse men, the people in charge of logistics, and also the
guys from the marketing department (who create such messes...).

I want to thank the entire company that has always been faced with
challenges yet enjoyed with us and, with our sponsors, has given us
the resources to play this game when no one wanted to gamble with us.
I am grateful for our luck....without this nothing would be possible.
This win is dedicated to all Ducatisti because at the end of the day,
it is because of you that all of this exists and has meaning.

Today Casey reminded us to keep fighting with teeth and nails to get
what we want. This is what we keep doing to one day give him an even
faster bike!

Rossi has a fight this year, nobody saw it coming from Stoner, Ducati
Racing now putting everything into it, [may even sacrifice SBK this
year] looks like a 2 horse race and Yamaha are so slow in getting its
act together, hard to believe but Ducati/Stoner can win it.

Stoner is the coolest guy i seen in years, might even crack it for a
smile oneday.

 

U seem to forget Mark that Yamaha cost Rossi 60 points with engine
failures, France, Usa and Turkey or was it China, he lost the
Championship by 1/6th of that.

One thing i find about Nicky he has honour, ask him if he *won* it or
Yamaha *lost* it for Rossi, i am sure he will be man enough to anwser
it honestly.

The fact is Loris should have won last year, for the same reason.
looks like his chance is now lost.
