It was Ettore Bugatti. You really should read things with both hands, hatz.

He didn't, really. He threatened to call the cops if I dropped my daks.

  4. How often and is that the typical price for every service or are there
services with extras like timing belts to be changed(that often get
conveniently forgotten when asking these things)?

The one I've heard attributed to Enzo was about Ferraris and rust. When a
customer complained about his newish Ferrari already rusting, his reply was
along the lines of "We build you the finest engine, the body we give you
free", can't locate the precise quote at the moment.

Too be honest, I don't know. I assume that it'd be a "standard" service,
    whatever that entails.

In any case, it's academic. I'm not going to buy it. If I'm gonna spend
that kinda dough, I might as well get a new bike.

  10. They know some customers, for reasons best known to themselves, don't
want ABS. They may not have tried it, or may like the idea of being able
to wash off speed by laying the bike down. BMW now have integral
(linked) brakes on some of their heavier bikes; I prefer unlinked. Love
ABS brakes though. Kept me from locking up on the gravel.
