  2. As I said, I ride just about every day. Rain or shine. Obviously,
you're one of those weekend motorcyclists along with being one to
    welch out on your bets.

"Oh, I meant something else than I bet you don't have a motorcycle
with 73,000 miles on it". What a Cowpie.

  8. The deal was you didn't believe I have a motorcycle with 73 THOUSAND
miles on it. It happens to be the followup to one that had over a
hundred in 1996. You're not weaseling your way out of it like a
    typical luser.

Your "Friends" will now see right through your sorry ass.

Well, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt....allowing that you might
have bought your bike in '96 so late that you couldn't ride it more than a
    couple of miles that year.

And for what it's worth, I don't have much experience with which to compare
mileage. I've only had my bike for 5 months and put 11k on it. I just
extrapolated from that. But then again, I'm a motorcyclist. Your mileage
    might vary.

  17. Bought mine in California and commuted from San Jose to San Francisco
daily until I moved to SF. While I lived in SF, I rode my mountain
    bike more than the motorcycle.

When I moved back to the east coast, I rode it straight through
excepting for several under bridge naps. Left SF thursday morning,
got to NC Saturday morning. Only one ticket in Denver.

Three days after arriving in NC, I had to go to Dallas. Rode it
there. Two meetings in one day. Rode it back. Both the CA and Dallas
trips included a nice detour into Virginia because I-40 was closed
    with a landslide. Heh.

Lately, I've traveling between cities in different parts of the state.
Rain or shine. Just not ice. :) You can't ride as much here as you
can in CA or TX, unfortunately. I don't have a snoski for the front.
And of course, the worst thing about that is that NC requires you to
carry insurance even if the ice keeps you from riding. MC laws here
    suck big weenies.
Yeah, but you had an unfair disadvantage. I didn't mention my other
bike or the fact that I kept the high mileage bike for over a year.
You just don's stop riding an old 920 Virago. It's too much fun in the
    city.
I'm in IT, but I ride except when it's absolutly too dangerous to do
    so.
No, mine remains pretty much mile for mile.
