Big Russ was the Minister for Lands when I was in my Public Service days,
when I refused to value some land that the Minister was buying from the
Crown at Oxenford at a price that he suggested was appropriate I suddenly
found myself transferred to Blackall from the Brisbane office, my union
refused to intercede on my behalf. 3 months later I resigned from both the
Public Service and the Union and have never considered going back to either.
