When I bought my gixxer it had new tyres on it. They are Dunlop Sportmax
    D207.

Any opinions on these or should I just change them?

Are they GPs or RRs? And why would you just change them until you've
    tried them out?

I mean, tyres appear to elicit a pretty subjective opinion so it's only
your experience that can truly tell.

With my riding, any that are black and round are fine.

Anway, Bear will probably be along when he gets back from his hols to
tell you that all Dunlops are shit )

Hmmm, I wonder if I could just wear them out on the track. [1]

I haven't really pushed the bike yet but I need to be sure they grip when I
do. I take your point though. If they're moderately OK they may just stay on
    for a little while.
    This is true.
    With good reason no doubt.

Thanks for that. I can't really afford to change tyres unless I'm certain. I
better check to see if they are RR's or not.

I dumped a new set due to them letting go at roughly 45 mph on the
    street[1]. They're shit.

BT010s were like glue on the same bike and bit of road.

    [1] dry, no diesel, etc.

    No tyre should do that.
Yeah, I like the 010's. Are they still available?

    I have 207RRs on the 9R and they're great.

    bloke in bedford.

It's a shame because the were a good all-rounder. The tyres on my Gixxer
just say D207 there are no R's.
