E-buyer and returns...

  1. Guess I'm about to find out if E-buyer's support reputation is
justified. Got two 256 MB SO-DIMMs today, but one only registers as
128 MB, whichever socket it's placed in. I've just submitted an RMA
    request...

Meanwhile I'm limping along on just 385024KB of RAM using one of
    the old 128 MB units..

  2. Well, I've just checked my emule and they've approved the return
with a detailed procedure to be followed. I might be able to get it in
the mail tomorrow, tho' I've not used the PO here often enough to know how
hard it is to get a receipt for return postage into the same packet being
    posted!

  3. We'll see how it goes. Pip's idea of an envelope taped on the
jiffybag seems worth trying (especially as I'll probably be re-using an
old bag). I wasn't abe to get it done today so it will have to wait until
Monday week now, along with the insurance claim for the DT. I'm off to
my other office tomorrow for a week.
