Easter/Wedding weekend ride - Marches division

Right. As geoff wants to sit in a pub in the evening rather than ride to
the seaside, are there any other takers for a "ride somewhere, have lunch,
ride back" type affair.

Suggest a day & meeting place in the Welsh Marches (anywhere near the
England/Wales border between say Chepstow & Leominster)

 

Oh. I would probably have suggested further West.

Abergwesyn Pass / Aberystwyth Mountain Road / Elan Valley area.

Almost summer

 

is this just the seasonal "it's getting warm, nobody wants insulation" type
thing like last year or have you fallen out properly i.e. considering legal
stuff as per the post a few days ago?

Is your summer job in the bike dealer going this year or do they have a
shortage of stock like the Jap car makers?

 

and that's likely to take all Friday to Monday? What are they renting? The

I'm hoping that lots of people are working on the Bank Holidays.
Tomorrow, I've got all of my holiday shopping to do, I need to get my
hair cut and I've a couple of small DIY jobs that might necessitate a
trip to Homebase.

 

I've had to come in to the office today and it's pretty much deserted.

Wish I could say the same for outside - just walked past the Tower and
the tourists are like slow-moving confused locusts. There's fucking
thousands of them.

 

It's certainly quiet here. Tube was moderately quiet as well.

It gets worse. SWMBO works just past the south side of Tower Bridge. The
tourists can make walking along it virtually impossible.
