I think the ones we're going to do are 2.5" BSF so if you want me to
pop over with the kit on Sunday I'll see what we can do to your
    calipers.

    <Googles for 2.5" bleed nipples>

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll stick with plan B & just get new
calipers. The cracked one's junk anyway & as new ones are only about 35
quid it's probably not worth the hastle.

lol. I have one of those on the back of the front error. I bled it
through the pipe instead as the nipple has been soaked in plus gas for
about 3 months, been hit sharply on the end with a hammer and heated
to no avail ... the fucker will not budge.

Yeah, I've noticed that on my Guzzi rear caliper, and the Grimeca
    fronts are the same.

    They are rather clean.

I picked up a pair of Thunderace blue spot calipers for the FJ before
xmas on Ebay. But the fuckers haven't arrived, I am not a happy bunny.

    TOG@toil, ,
Well... the two-pot brembos on the K series beemers use ceramic pistons.
Maybe speak to Motorworks- I've got rebuild kits for the 2 pot brembos
    from them in the past.

I think he's talking about the 4-pots fitted to 16V K100s and to the
    1100s.

They are indeed incredibly good brakes. With goodridge lines and HH pads
they have huge power and do not fade.

Yes... I'd figured that bit out; just wondered if they also used ceramic
    pistons on the four pots.

Why you fucking pikeys will not invest in a set of LH drill bits is a

yup, I have the neg up my sleve, but I can't do the ebay 'goods not
arrived' as too much time has passed. Also paid by cheque, needless to
    say cashed and gone.

I have, but there's no access at the back of the nipple, I'd have to
tear down the brakes and get the cylinder off to attack it.

    Bollx to that ;-)
