    Two 1400W UPS', £25 each.

    Both working perfectly.

Others of the same ilk seem to go for about £75 each :)

I need never be worried by powercuts again.

On the downside, 2 of the 5 things I was selling went for the min bid
of 50p, but I made a quid on postage so it's not *too* bad.
(it's Ebay or a car boot sale)

If you need replacement batteries for these UPS I have the number of a bloke
that has his own company that just does refurbishing of UPS etc. Not an
    expensive service either.

    They are so good.

I have one(1) for the cable mode, router, firewall, switch and WAP, such
minor items than can be a PITA if you have a powercut, we live in the
sticks and use laptops so outages are no longer feared, in fact UPSs rock,
I could go on about them all day

Liebert cost 17 quid 6 years ago and still lasts for hours with such a
    small load.

I do have another UPS which went bang years ago. Never bothered looking
at it since then. The batteries are goosed so it'll cost more to fix
than a good used one would.

Well, it made me smile. You've been around long enough to put up with
    this blunt humour ...

    Cheers

Yup, but Ogden/Sweller seem to have a particular downer on me at the
    moment. I'm flattered in a way :)
