2 more fairing panels, this time right hand side ones. One perfect and
the other scratched, in the same colours as my bike....48 quid the pair.

Now I can replace the lightly scratched one I have fitted to the bike,
also have a scratched spare for trackdays and sell the original one on.

If anyone knows of a lightly damaged tailpiece and/or top fairing for a
    GSX-R600/750 K1/2/3 or 1000 K1/2 then I'd be very interested. I'm
building up a complete spare set of bodywork to stick on the bike for
trackdays. Colour isn't an issue, nor are cracks and scrapes within
    reason.

    I haven't lost my mind, it's
backed up to a floppy disc
    that's around here somewhere.

I'd be interested in doing a deal with these straight undamaged 1000
K1/2 panels, that only require some gloss black paint, to fit yours. I
can make the 600/750 ones fit well enough for trackdays. I'd also be
interested in a damaged tailpiece and the nose cone.

Hey you have a slightly ropey centre section and side panel if we ever
get a box to fit. Sitting downstairs here.

There's a matter of finding a suitably sized box. The centre section is
the side panel though, or do you mean there's a nose cone as well? On
the Gixer the whole of one side and belly pan is in one piece. There's
only three parts to the whole main fairing.

Oooh, I'd better sort out a box big enough for those. Do you want these
long front brake lines back to sell with the flat bar conversion? I
understand you've got the originals or some braided ones that are
    shorter somewhere.

May as well, yes I have the original goodridge lines here

It's the side panel that doesn't fit in any box we have had, the nose
    cone is easy.
Perhaps I should just wrap it somehow and tape it to this other box.

Not a bad idea, I mean it's broken anyway so a little more scuffing
won't make too much difference and it won't cost extra to send that way.
Please mister, I'd be grateful. I'll send these lines back when the
Goodridge arrive. Next on the list is a Brembo or AP radial m/cylinder,
so I'll change the lines when I get one of those.

A Brembo one looks to be favourite at the moment because there are some
Ducati 749/999 ones becoming available at reasonable money now. They
have the same 19mm bore and 20:1 ratio as AP and Magura ones, so should
do the job equally as well. AP are still too costly for what they are,
    suprise suprise.

I can't really afford to have two large capacity sports bikes, one of
which will sit there and do nothing for 99.9% of the time, and I'm also
    pushed for storage space.

I did, then luckily I got gazzumped on it before picking it up. In
retrospect 'buying' it was a bit of a foolish thing to do. I have other
financial commitments that should take precedence over getting a new toy
    atm.

I'm almost glad I didn't pick the 7R up tbh.
