blew my shite old bike over. And it was on the centre stand.

Didn't realise how heavy it really was until I had to pick it up. Just
popping my stomach lining back in now :-(

Why? Do you think it is more stable on the centre stand?
Best learn how to pick it up properly.

A few years ago, one particularly windy day, I ended up catching the
train home after finding the wind blowing so hard in the direction the
bike was already leaning that it was nigh-on impossible to push it off
the sidestand. I figured that if I couldn't get it upright when it was
already mostly there, I wasn't going to chance riding it home.

Alright, alright! So I struggled to lift the bike I admit. But in my defence
I would like to point out that it had fallen into a wet muddy area and part
of the lift was overcoming stiction to get the LH handlebar free. What with
my feet sliding around in the mud and no fucker offering any help I think I
    did ok.
    Ok?

Must have been about 1995 the last time I can remember winds like this.

Anyway, I lived just behind the football ground in Swansea at the time
    and had a GP100.

I woke up in the morning and found my GP had been blown the best part of
    100m down the street.

You're supposed to leave the wheels on the ground.

Tosspot banged the rocks together and they said :
No point, you know you'll crumble and give in in the end!

That's what happened to the guy who thought he could do the same with his
    honda 250RS.

    That's my tenner then. :)
