    Just seen the 3 local bike cops off on patrol.....

    All wearing very dark visors.......

    Has there been some change in the law??

    Nope - but they can be issued daylight only legal visors.

  5. dark visors that the police can use without having to nick themselves?

    seriously - aren't there tinted visors which comply with the appropriate
    standard for allowing sufficient light through the tint? I think this is
    what JP may be referring to BICBW.

    As Paul says - you can get CE visors which are approved for daylight
    us only. I use one on mine as well.
