Embassy No 1

Can anyone with a clue tell me why Embassy No 1's now have a "Jim'll
Fix It" question on the side of the packet?

I've googled but can't find any explanation.

 

Why not write & ask Jim?

 

And what happened to Embassy No 2, 3 and 4, eh?

 

With fag advertising being banned all over the place, I'd have
thought we'd be spammed on the net with ad's but the net appears
to be somewhat clear of this. Any ideas why?

 

They're bringing the program back onto TV. Different Jim though.

fix the rate of tobacco duty at threepence ha'penny a packet or increase
it to a groat in the budget.

It's a limited edition pack for some anniversary or another.

 

I've noticed that other British American Tabacco branded fags have
also had a face lift to simplify the pack design, Royals (Also BAT)
have this too.

I assumed it was just cutting costs.

 

I see that B&H are bringing out packs of 14, in gold and silver
varities. Same equivalent price to 20s, but below the crucial 4 quid
a pack.

They /appear/ to be cheaper ;-)

 

I was amused to see a new packet of Sovereign on the table in the pub
last night with a Burberry pattern on.

 

Yesterday I saw a pub fag vending machine selling those 16-a-pack
variety for £5.30. One has to be very rich to spend that kind of mey.
