Currently researching transport. Crap trip on a bike, so looking at car or
plane. Looks like we can fly to Barcelona for 14 euros. Maybe do that and
hire a car. Driving from here is 14 hours on motorways.

Already looked at that. Flights are expensive ie; 600€ round trip for 2 of
us. Also, if we're to see you lot, I wouldn't expect my friend to ferry us
    about.

It's looking like I'll be driving. Perhaps we'll do an overnight in
Barcelona. Never been there, so it's a good excuse. I'll race Domenec to the
French destination in my hot hatch :)

Except when I email her I get "Please do not email this address in future,
    the emails are not checked."

And the link to her site gives a 404.

Did I miss something? Perhaps I'd better scour the thread for a: changed
email address and b: changed url for the website.

So, who's going? And when? Last time I saw anyone from here was about 5
years ago on a TOG tour in the north of France. I expect you all look old
    now.

Well, as you know, it's all fixed up now. Room is booked at the B&B and one
booked in Teruel for the overnight stop en route :) Top chap.

Anyone want anything bringing from Spain that isn't a ham? I'd better chuck
some Rioja in the car I suppose. Chorizos and stuff like that springs to
    mind.

What address did you use for Jen in the end? I've tried two different
ones, without success. Hope you didn't get the last room!

Er, does thar mean Chateau d'Omenec?
Rioja as they may find at any Tesco? If it ain't too cold bring Manzanilla,
    some dry cheese and olives.

Er, yes. Although I hope there's a key under the doormat.
I presume you mean that sherry-type substance, and not camomile tea? Dry
cheese? What's that? I'll get an assortment of stuffed olives from
    Mercadona.

Our local agents of Spectra will pass the keys to you in person.
    Yes, the sherry-type.

Ah, so not dry then, rather the opposite.

This is a bastard: "el alto contenido de grasa saturada de estos quesos
obliga a un consumo moderado por las personas que tienen el colesterol
    elevado"

And this refers to most of the ukrm lot: "Tampoco son recomendables estos
quesos curados para los obesos" although thinking about it, neither Ace nor
Champ were particulary weighty when I last saw them. Dunno who else is
    going.

I'll look out for some Coquen then.
