No it isn't. No one has mention the waste material. It's been stacking
up since the 50s here and no one knows what to do with it. It has a half
life of 50,000 years. The Russians just dump it in the oceans. ****
knows what the koreans and Iranians and doing with theirs.

Lead lined concrete box, dump in the sea or bury underground. Job
    sorted.

It's not like we're talking huge volumes of the stuff, is it?

Why didn't we think of this earlier?

Tell us, oh guru, how shall we bring about world peace?

(I withdraw my earlier comment, BTW, I know suspect you really are
    completely fucking stupid.)

I see a flaw in the plan though. No one left to ride motorcycles and
drink all this goblin in the fridge.

Things have been going wrong in the nuclear industry since 1959 and the

it'll be causing horrible genetic mutations for the next x thousand years.
The electric it generates costs more per unit than wind power and that's not
taking decommissioning costs into account. The pro nuclear lobby are all
heavy investors in civil engineering companies...

So this is all complete and utter bollocks then?

Well, at least I don't think it the natural order of things to burn oil
as fast as we can, and build more and more radioactive waste producing
    power stations.

Even I know that radiation makes concrete crumble and metals btittle in
time, which is not a good thing if you want to contain the stuff.

King Edward I banned the burning of coal in London in 1273 as it was
'prejudicial to health'. Transgressions were dealt with in a somewhat
    severe manner ...

'Be it known to all within the sound of my voice, whosoever shall be
guilty of the burning of coal shall suffer the loss of his head.'

Good point - a useful sink for all that used oil. It's not as though
yer average tectonic plate is a high-revving piece of kit.
