At least I make the effort to ensure I make a proper job of it when I
need recovering.

 

Rubbish. Still, at least the sun was mostly shining. Could've done with
a drink, though; must remember to break down near a shop next time.

Not long after I'd got there, a bloke from one of the nearby houses took
his old CBR600 out for a spin. He stopped on the way back in to see if
he could help, saying that he'd just replaced alternator, wiring loom,
etc. after it all died on him in the outside lane of the M1, at night.
Nasty. He might have offered me a cuppa, though.

 

Maplins sell them, I have a couple of sets here left over from making
up battery connections for that bloody RGV250 Danny was meant to be
racing.
