really want to visit EOSM today.
trouble is, i had a new chain and sprockets fitted yesterday, and the dozy
git in the garage has broken one of the wheel adjuster plates.
he has replaced it with a big washer and says it will be fine until *I* buy
    a new one.
i just don't know whether to risk the journey or not.
    anyone got a spare one?
    it's for a xj600s diversion.

As long as you take it easy it'll be fine. Is it drive side or offside?

Don't worry about it then. I'm sure your 'mechanic' will have done the
spindle up good and tight to compensate for the lack of positive
location, and with it being the offside, the power train won't be
    putting it under much stress.

    Come on down.

  6. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Dave Eades"
    Rusted solid adjuster nut/screw?
